Congratulations to Angele and Rhonda for being recognized by the VA Puget Sound for their work with helping our military veterans!

Congratulations to Angele and Rhonda for being recognized by the VA Puget Sound for their work with helping our military veterans!

We are proud to announce that two Millionair Club Charity staff members were recognized this spring by VA Puget Sound Health Care System as outstanding community partners in helping returning combat soldiers and veterans find housing and employment.

Angele Leaptrot, Housing Resource Specialist, and Rhonda Kopelli, Director of Employment and Training, were given the Heart of a Social Worker Award at a luncheon on March 5 at the VA hospital in Seattle.

“The positive relationships established and guidance provided by Ms. Kopelli and Ms. Leaptrot has allowed Millionair Club veteran clients to make significant progress with income, employment and housing stability,” wrote Hanz Bolen, a social worker at the VA Puget Sound.

We serve military veterans by offering mental health counseling and connections to local services as well as employment opportunities, job training, meals and other support services.

The Millionair Club Charity is more than just a single employee, volunteer or worker.

We’re an organization that thrives on the deeply rooted connections between everyone in our community: Program participants, employers, volunteers, donors, partners, staff, board members and everyone else who has contributed to our work in some way.

We are proud to share with you our 2012 Annual Report.

In it, you will read about some of these individuals who make up the Millionair Club Charity. You will learn about some of the lives we’ve changed, our accomplishments, financial information and ways you can become further involved with us.
